I need to replace the handlebars on my 74 Roadster after having laid it down a couple months ago. I ordered the "US" bars from Old Britts and found them to be about an inch lower than what I had on there. I've owned the bike since new and can't recall ever having changed the handlebars from stock. (Well, there was a short time in the 70's when I had pullbacks, but they went away quickly).

I'm only aware of 3 choices of bars on a Commando - US, European, and Hi Rider. Does anyone know if there are differences in what the various Brit vendors sell for the same part number?

I got a set from Walridge, and too, they were about 1" shorter rise. Kind of between the Home (Euro) and Export (my originals). I saw that Phil at FS had a set of stainless for about $90. I don't know if they are any different. I don't mind the look though. Good Luck, they are probably all made by the same people unless you get the Emgo ones.

I've had the euro bar on mine for a long time. Easier on the old back when you hit a pothole. I still have the original US bars stored away if you need unbent measurements. Maybe hard to find a close generic bar due to the long straight sections for the levers.
