Clutch cable question

I've fitted the Euro low bars to my 71 Roadster and the clutch cable now seems to be too long. Both OldBritts and Venhill list the same cable housing length, 51 inches, for everything but the Hi Rider bars. I could probably "loose" a few inches by rerouting it but that might not be so easy with a Venhill heavy duty cable. Anyone else run into this? Is a shorter cable available?

Thanks L A B. I notice that AN does indeed list 2 different shorter cables but Venhill seems only to list 51 inches and 56-13/16 inches.

Can't you find Venhill "N01-3-103" (47")?

Can't you find Venhill "N01-3-103" (47")?

Yes now I see it. I kept looking under 750 which my bike is rather than 850.

The item that Les showed as N01-03-101 is the same one I used on my '74 with Euro bars. 'Works a treat. They list it as '69 thru '77 (?)

It's not the same as N01-03-103 47" for '850 Majorca' (Mk3 Euro) bars.

That is a 51 inch housing, which is what I have now. It just seems a bit too long as I end up with a large looping curve between the lever and where it heads down by the headstock and under the tank.
