Recently had tank off to perform a round of cylinder head bolt torquing. Discovered the clutch cable which had been routed along spine to the rear 'bulkhead", then downward passing over the diagonal frame member. Here it managed to abraid the freshly powder coated frame member. Routing was done at last bike reassembly by a pro workshop.
Was thinking that it should pass through the large bulkhead grommet with wiring harness?

Hmm, so the shop did it appropriately. Guess I"ll need to sort some abrasion protection at the frame touch point.

Disclaimer: this is where my Venhill was most happy, the bends being gentle, the entry into the gearbox at the best angle. Some cables of different lengths may not be able to be routed this way.
