Anyone else out there had any experience with an Avon Venom AM41 (not the Supervenom AM18) front tyre? I recently had one fitted in error and am not yet too sure on how far to trust it. They are listed under the cruiser (I cringe at that word) section of the Avon website.
Background is that I ordered the tyre over the phone by name only, didn’t look closely at the job sheet when dropping off and when I went to pick up the bike with tyre fitted (Saturday lunch time) found that my good front Supervenom had been replaced and the worn/split rear Supervenom was still in place - Venoms are front only. I had the former front SuperV refitted on the rear otherwise I would have missed Sundays planned ride. Yes I will be more careful with the order and job sheet next time.
