What a bunch of knuckleheads!
The comments are interesting
Didn't that turn out to be a "bearded one" myth? IE the D stamped con rodsYes, the apparent crankshaft problem they were looking for with the scope was, "...a D on some component..." (the 'D' conrods) not the main bearings.

You will be pleased to hear then that Norton's new Boutique store will be in Hipster Central - Shoreditch, East London. These hipsters should not be allowed near a motorbike.
I was surprised it was so cheap for a boxed bike tbhI was trying to watch their video.... I've seen them before. They're great at talking..... I had to skip thru much of it, but hey, what the heck they get millions of viewers and they paid 17k. Those two things alone are good, and it started right away in spite of their lack of knowledge. Good for the brand and brit bikes in general IMHO. Cj

Didn't the 75's have soft cams also?Yes, the apparent crankshaft problem they were looking for with the scope was, "...a D on some component..." (the 'D' conrods) not the main bearings.
