2021 meet up?

Great weather, look forward to seeing at least as many again at the National Motorcycle Museum on 24 July for the Norton Owners Club open day.

my California behaved well, mostly, apart from my added screen coming loose on the way there, but Halford’s borrowed allen keys and duct tape sorted that. And hit 1000 miles on way home. IDEAL biking weather all day. A rarity.

What an awesome meet! Perfect weather, beers were flowing..mostly for those staying over. Breakfast outside today. Three of us rode to the super sausage cafe for brunch, on to Woburn triumph for coffee and finally home. 322 miles as my first trip out on the dominator and what a cool trip. My number plate lost a plastic bolt on the way there...repaired on the M25 with an imaginatively deployed rubber glove. Happy to be home in a comfee sofa now though!

Hr Dr Bob is certainly saying all the right things IMHO. And he has a solid track record. I say give the man a chance. I am cautiously optimistic about the future for Norton…

Bugger, completely forgot!!!
I'm stuck rebuilding a wall, hope the weather holds out for you and me! Have a great one guys.

looking forward to some factory pics!
Hi Jan ,
Please note the complete absence of any pics , none permitted inside or outside the huge new factory unit , must be multi million investment, clapped eyes on 13 complete 961 classics , 3 complete 961 engine s & bout 12 short exhaust systems in process off being made in house , no V4 bikes or bits on show , certainly what we were showed , made a point of quality checking etc is paramount with these hi tec machines which check frames /hardness /welds & metal things .
No one has really been shown round the place yet & there gearing up for a press launch soon , many boxes in stores areas with Norton on , but we don’t know what’s inside them.
There’s an extraction system there for removing exhaust fumes from the place , you know bit like vacuum cleaner flexible tubes hanging from over head , so must be doing petrol engines surely?.
It does appear to be well funded & had one of them automotive “ Light box’s” with ultra bright lights to park the bike in to show up visual defects .
Impressive Norton logo on factory building outside what will be reception area

Thanks for the update. Any news on continued parts support for 961's ?

Hello Richard , I wish I could have been there to see it too. You are doing a wonderful job of promoting group rides and driving your 961 ! Keep up the great work. I will never understand the Norton 961 haters out there , disgusting and amusing at the same time.
