I know that this is a bit of a long shot when we don't know what's going to happen but the Donnington Burnout was obviously cancelled for this year. Being super smart I booked the hotel before you all did for a weekend on the 5th and 6th September. I now find myself unable to cancel the rooms as its not the hotels policy. Thanks for that. However I was thinking that maybe the day could be resurrected as a day out for the bikes and a meeting at the factory with the new owners/staff. Just trying to sound out interest and show the new owners that they have a loyal customer base. Not to mention a few beers and a ride out. Let me know if this is of interest and I will try and contact the factory or if anyone has more direct contact let me know.

I can't plan a week ahead but certainly sounds doable and a great idea being fairly central for many.

Have you got a twin room, I don't snore I promise. :)

Could be a start of something, many 961 owners would have to travel a long old way, Maybe worth checking out local travel lodges/premier inns etc unless SG will allow camping in the grounds. Problem is, many wont want to commit at this time for understandable reasons.

Commitment has always been my problem, or so I'm told. And I DO snore, its a double and no I am not that way inclined. :) The Priest House rooms are a very reasonable £40-50 with breakfast I have also stayed in the Donington Manor Hotel also about the same price.

1st clean and start after 4 months isolation. It started! I couldn’t be more surprised and delighted. Back in the garage for another 5 weeks and then Priest House here we come.

Lovely! Best colour, Best pipes. I can even forgive the Easy Rider bars;) Hope to see you on the road,,,,

Awesome! Second best colour, best pipes, where are the clip-ons!? :) Sweet looking ride, gonna have to look at painting the engine cover lettering again - it looks great! Is it just me, or do bikes generally just look cooler when the ass end is jacked up on a paddock stand?
