yeah i know what you mean, is there a mesurement that the handle bars are suppose to be at? i mean from the yolk to the bend where the throttle and left handle bar is? does anyone know any kind of vin ID numbers that I should look for? thanks again guys!

Well, as I said earlier, identifying the original body style is just about impossible, unless you have any dealer paperwork from the original sale?

You could apply to the records sections of UK NOC or VMCC? As they have access to the factory records, but don't be surprised if they can't help you.
