Has anyone done these conversions ? Be interesting to see .
A couple of my Triton loving mates have commented in the past, admiring my 961s engine and saying it would look good in a featherbed frame.Has anyone done these conversions ? Be interesting to see .
I had and old Honda off road bike , still got it and it has an old poweroll stroker kit and a big bore kit , at 70mph your eye lids blurrPutting a good 750/850 motor in a 961 would be a good way to improve reliability !
Would have to accept increased vibration due to not having isolastics tho.
I would not dare rev the motor high with the standard balance factor. Norton lowered it, so they could sell their bikes to ModsDo Thruxton Bonnevilles vibrate at high revs ? You balance the crank to suit your purpose. The first thing I did when building my Seeley 860, was screw the steel pug into the hole in the flywheel with blue Loctite.. The motor shakes at low revs, but at high revs it is dead smooth.

What are you ?
