961 Cush drive rubbers (damping rubbers, part number 6010049)

If I’m going to pull the wheel to check the rubbers, I may as well just change them and the rear sprocket and wheel bearings.
I see the rubber part numbers listed as Norton p/n 6010049-R1 or TALON p/n TCDR-1

Anyone know the wheel bearing part numbers or a upgrade brand / number?

At the same time I’ll be going with the ThreeD chain as well.

As an alternative to Talon I used to get aluminium sprockets made for my F1 by B&C Express.
They used a Renthal blank sprocket and machined it to pattern.
Also hard anodised.
I seem to remember sending down my old sprocket.

Today I received my Superlite quick change sprocket and hub assembly for my 2020 Diavel 1260S.
The crush drives used are polyurethane. They don’t mention the duro ratings but I wish the Talon / Norton’s were this easy to check and change.
This hub assembly is 40% lighter than stock and is all cnc billet aluminum. The sprocket is steel.

Well my Cush drive rubbers truly are knackered and have damaged hubs a bit ?, anyone machined the pegs a mm or so shorter or the sockets a mm or so deeper?

Hello Spike , This is what Norton did on their latest version of Cush drive bolts. The heads are about 1mm shorter and you can order these bolts from Norton. How many miles on the cush rubbers ?

I was smugly thinking mine were going to be OK at 5500 miles as I had given them a reassuring wiggle but after reading this thread I checked and guess what, just in time! Thanks to the people who paved the way, Talon had two sets to me within 24hrs, just waiting for the grease!

replaced rubbers yesterday - as everyone says tight fit getting the sprocket carrier into the rubbers but rather than hammer as others have suggested it’s simpler and less brutal to simply use the axel and some spacers ( I used the chain tensioner pieces) to pull the carrier into the hub...

Good Idea ! Some PVC pipe as spacers and after some miles they should loosen up a bit one would think ?
