Any details on this centerstand dimensions or fastening?

Old man, who cant tunafish, wants to know!

Looks like an adaption of a center stand off of another Norton.

1st one I've ever seen...I'm thinking homemade? Or possibly modified from another English motorbike? It also looks to have a nice strobe timing feature on the outside of the primary.
 
If you are still curious, I’ll let you know next time I have it out. It’s my new project now.

I keep it in a relative’s garage right now because I don’t have the work/storage space.

I also recall the auctioneer saying something about a "factory racing" frame or something. Could just be a sales pitch.

I'm still learning about the whole bike because I've never seen one (I recently looked into one of my old MC books from when I was a kid, and there's no P11 anywhere in the Norton sections)

But the mount looks solid to me.

The P11 chassis is, according to my poor recall, a factory racer G85CS chassis....chrome moly/brazed construction.

I enjoy the blank stare from motorcycle people when I report "it is a Norton P11" .

Seems to be an angle section running across the frame to which 4 tabs / lugs are welded which holds two pivot bolts. The outer lugs appear to be threaded. They are L-shaped, thus supporting the angle section under the frame rails. The forward facing part of the angle section is fitted with two tabs/lugs which are clamped by the lower gearbox bolt.
Neat arrangement, apparently avoiding the frame to be altered.

The centerstand including the horizontal tubes which attach to the pivot bolts appear to be factory made. The rugged design suggests it came off a heavy bike. I believe the donor was a Suzuki GS750 and the OEM stand was trimmed for lever etc.

I picked up a GS550 stand off ebay for $1 +$10 ship.
Looks promising as a duplicate of the one in Pops pictures....with some mods, pics later.

Looks a tad too tall and side arm needs to be smaller as pictured.

dimension at top , outside both tubes is 6" in width.
Spring hook , cross tube, foot style look same.

in this stock form it weighs 1550 gms

Looks like it is bolted to an additionally added round or square bar with tabs welded to the bottom of the frame tubes? Maybe an old Suzuki subframe piece?
 
Looking at the photos from pops, it appears to me to be a single flat bar (maybe 1/8 thick) that has 6 tabs welded to it, seven tabs if you include spring tab mount.

Four tabs down to hold the stand, two tabs up to allow bolting to the bottom trans thru bolt, requiring a longer thru bolt.

I see 90 degree tabs at the outside bottom to keep this assembly from rotating up, with bike weight, but I don't see yet what is keeping the whole assembly from rotating down.

The bar is obviously an angle section, not a flat bar.

According to my calculations, there are positive contact forces between the rails and the "90 degree tabs" when center stand is lowered (bike parked) as well as center stand raised (weight of stand balanced by the spring force). Thus, the assembly will not rotate down.

Obviously I made a few reasonable assumptions wrt. geometry based on the images in this thread. If anyone is interested in the calcs, please pm me.

I ordered a spring and bushings from a Suzuki supplier.

Here is a clearer photo of the bottom view.

Other photos seems to show an "up" stop mounted on the right side with a rubber bumper.
