Local dealer has not had much success in even contacting Norton, much less ordering parts from them.

I'm looking to get clamp not only for bar swap, but since they are thicker, I want to lower tubes / raise front end for more lean clearance.

Would also adjust rear shocks longer.

When mine was done (at the factory) it was just the three hoses.

The hoses are longer indeed. You can go from standard to clip-onr without hoses. Not the other way round.

See my manual and just reverse it.

The throttle cables are different, so are the front brake lines and clutch line. You will also find that your fluid reservoir brackets won't line up when you switch to high bars.

The throttle cables are different, so are the front brake lines and clutch line. You will also find that your fluid reservoir brackets won't line up when you switch to high bars.

Thanks for the clarity Rob, hopefully it’ll be a few years yet until I need to resort to these measures.

Until then, I intend to endure, sorry I meant enjoy, the clip ons for as long as I can!

In theory, although you are the first person to ask for it. Again, you would have to change clutch and brake lines, throttle cables. On top of that you would need to have the switchcube wires extended, brake and clutch switch wires extended and new handlebar clamps and bolts. Also the bar end weights are different on a california.

Since we have only ever done the California in Euro 4, we wouldn't have the correct length brake hoses if the bike for conversion wasn't euro 4.

Great info. So glad you joined. This is the precise and clear info I was asking for from your predecessors.

And from experience with standard bars, the most you can raise is 1” (inch) or 25mm. And that one inch makes a desirable difference.

1 inch in the front, along with whatever I can do to the shocks would help to keep
the mufflers from scraping.__Already getting " All The Tire " and mufflers touch just a taste.

Will also use 1 inch extended fork caps to fill the top clamp flush.
