More than a few wonderful bodges were found on this beauty...
One more try...
-AT LEAST 10 pounds of weld & filler material (no exaggeration)
-Extensive use of hose clamps & U-bolts
-Many parts welded to the frame including tank, seat, and sissy bar
-Front fender hose-clamped to stationary AND active members of springer fork
-World's longest rear brake rod
-Worlds longest 3/8" drive ratchet extension used for hand shifter
-1" Harley controls with bodged cable fitments
-One round, one rectangular headlight
-Flat stock rear struts obviously too weak
-All red wiring
-One stainless pipe, one plain
-5 pound double steel pipe coil mount; welded to frame, broke off, duct taped back on
-Kickstart arm welded to kicker shaft
-Front brake hub not anchored
-2-piece HD tank welded to frame with 5 pound chunks of 1/4" thick steel, no cover trim over 2" gap on top between tank halves
...never mind what all wonders were INSIDE the engine
