Hi
Spent a very nice day in the sun looking at a non working 5 speed gearbox & a selection of worn & busted gears.
The box came my way as it was locked. Obviously it had never been looked at! Found it would go into first & neutral but was solid elsewhere. Stripped & cleaned it. Used but not knackered.
Owner must have been a Triumph man!
The camplatè was in 5th but the quadrant knuckle was level with the top stud. All back together & working.
In the other parts I found a camplate I think the same previous owner attempted a reverse camplate.
The clue from Quaife is the gear number stamped on the front.
