Lets not forget the experts of wiring who can use many colours gauges an types of wire and a hole range of methods of connecting (or not) these multitude of odd bits that most would think only fit for the bin.

These OPs are to be admired for their commitment to saving the planet by recycling every last inch of copper they can find

Also their optimism as to how long these works of colour coded copper artwork will perform for is to be commended

Dude watch your judgements as I've gotten home on Peel by using clear packing tape d/t a shorted to case coil failure I fixed to get home from work. So functionally duct tape is race and road prove preventive upgrade. Bad engineering mods are one thing to pick on but don't go from preaching to meddling Paul on just cosmetic extremes.

This reminds me that a DPO installing a boyah before you get the Cdo and not modify the trigger leads is worse than sissy bar and ape hangers.

I think it is the ugliest Commando I've seen yet after your remark Mark, I see it in new light beyond mere make over cosmetics but long hard thoughtful efforts as intense and successful as any nice finished cafe or racer special. I swear I think he's made the primary side the pretty side for a change, errie appealing. Actually I just now realized-flashed back on my 6th continuous day on Combat on group ride the hot rod among all the outlaw HD's was a 750 set up quite like this one, looking long in tooth, ugly gap between tank and seat, saddle bags, welded up head here and there paint over norton logos but sounded great and told it could half the time home anyone else could on world famous Pig Trail that hurt my groin to toe nails 1st time that day. This fella literally lived on it but finally gave up on its up keep and got a V-twin non HD bagger and group broke up.

I'd love to show up to one of our bike gatherings on that chopper, Bike running like crap smoking badly and maybe a part or two hanging off. Then getting off, pulling a rag from my pocket and wiping the fender off.

I also see something in it, I just don't know what it is.

Heres a couple couple from my current project "Strange Frame" Locked :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: and "Strange Frame 2"

Now the guards, panels, tank are painted and looking complete, but now into the 5th week waaaaaiitttinnngg for the wiring harness to arrive from Britan (FFS).. Had 2 orders filled, paid and received from USA (OL'B's) in that time... Never again will i ebay from England................... Thought i would "share" it around a bit...

Its says for a dragster and shaved head fins are fairly common mod for engines dedicated to methanol fuel which doesn't heat up like gasoline and lost a couple lb inertia. Ugly welded frame plates and bondo puddles definitely classic bad modification if not transformed into a righteous chopper with some flair of bad taste to flaunt. Hope my Ms Peel project gets as much jeers as cheers just for fun.

My son was a service writer for a Harley dealership a few years ago. A guy called and said his bike kept over heating. They told him to bring it in. He had ground all of the fins down. They asked him why. He liked the smooth look of the barrels.

Those are worse than my PO with a drill press infatuation. He drilled a bunch of holes through all the heat fins in my cylinders. But I still used them.

My brothers new K4 racer. It kept stalling going into the hairpin, it needed handfuls & slipping the clutch to keep it running.
Stripped it to find new pistons, new bore, Standard pistons plus 20 rebore
