Hi everybody

I'm rewiring my MkII and I want to convert it to negative ground using a three phase sparx alternator with rectifier, boyer micropower electronic ignition and a coolcat solid state warning light assimilator because I want to use some gadjets and install led bulbs. Is this the right way to wire it up?

Thanks everybody

OK, thanks, I couldn't have guessed it without all the hours I have spent learning this forum...

My 71 is still positive earth. I have no experience with this type of system. What are the advantages or dis-advantages of converting to negative ground?
Sorry, dont mean to hi-jack the thread/
Thanks MikeM

I was having charging problems with my commando (poorly magnetized alternator rotor and daytime running lights due to spanish legislations) so I decided to use a sparx three phase alternator and led bulbs. Almost all the led bulbs I've seen are negative ground and in a future I may want to use some modern gadjets (GPS, electronic speedo/tacho...) so I decided to swap to negative ground.

Thanks
