Who's going to the TT??

I own both a 2018 961 California and also the Miller's T'Ale Manx Micropub in Peel. Alongside StuartSF2015 it would be great if a few of us could get together over a pint and talk 961s etc. I will be tied a lot of the time to the pub but will get out when I can. Secondly as an IOM resident if I can help or advise you guys, please shout. StuartSF2015 and Stuart Bodycote both have my contact details and permission to hand over.

If you put them in a pan of boiling water (off the heat) for a couple of minutes you should find they don't repeat. Back in the day the locals used to put them in a tall earthenware jug by the fire with the tails sticking out and fill with hot water. These days the locals BBQ them. You can see the earthenware jug method in Harry Kelly's cottage at the living museum of Cregneash in the south of the Island.

Speaking as a Peel resident, Peel makes an excellent night out with 8 pubs including mine, The Miller's T'Ale Manx Micropub on Michael Street and numerous eateries. You're all welcome at The Miller's and to bring your takeaways if it's bad weather. Buses are excellent here with half hourly services from and to Douglas to most towns. Just ne wary of catching that last bus - 40,000 bikers might have the same idea and its a long walk back to base.
 
Offshore I will definitely call in for a pint . That's great that you can bring food into the pub as well . See you on the rock. But unfortunately not on a Norton
 
There was some guys selling Norton merch behind the grandstand last year. Same tent as the freewheeling stuff I think
 
It's blowing a gale hear at the min..I'm about 12 miles from the port.
Hopefully it will settle by tomorrow or I'm in for a choppy crossing
 
Just boarded the ferry at Liverpool new terminal. There a lot more movement on the ramp then at the old dock. If you don't hit the ramp straight it could end in tears . I believe at least one bike went over

Over cast on the island this morning. Not looking good for practice this evening according to the radio.
Roads are still quiet at the moment so we're gear on and do a few miles before the fast lads turn up
 
Off to pick up waterproofs this evening!

Thank GOD I put new tyres (Pilot Road's) on a few weeks ago.

I’m joining the TT Legacy Lap this morning, meet at the Grandstand from 08:30. Lap starts at 09:30.
Up to the Creg after that to watch a packed day of delayed qually.
Peel tomorrow for a meet & greet with ‘Offshore’ at his watering hole.
Who would be up for an owners meet at The Millers T’Ale on Thursday 5th at 13:00hrs?

If the racing is not pushed to Thursday Kev I will try to swing past . Richard Hammond is on the legacy lap on one of the new Mac motorcycles. I was going to head down but few to many last night so the lie in won over.

Hope everyone is having a great time. I've been listening and watching here in NYC. Looks like Dunlop is running the show this year ! Hopefully I'll get over there next year. Did the glamping near Douglas back in 2018 and may do it again unless others recommend something better. Flying in so no MC.
