arriving late afternoon tomorrow, and probably heading straight to Ginger Hall or Kirk Michael for the second practice session. I’ll let you know anyway. Jurby is back on, on Sunday, so planning to catch up with @MexicoMike there.
 
It is a trifle annoying that there doesn’t seem to be a central place where you can see all that is going on, and it’s also a shame that because Jurby is back on, the Ramsay sprint will suffer as they happen on the same day. Both events are great, but in the past Jurby has been the highlight of the week for me. (apart from meeting you of course Bonz) 🤣
 
Yeah, I know what you mean (especially the bit about meeting me ;))

I wish they'd go back to the old format of a week of practice followed by race week. It all seems a bit crammed in now and it's effectively a long weekend event. It must put some pressure on the newcomers.

Yesterday's session was canned due to low cloud & tonight's has just been scrapped due to a red flag. Hope everyone's ok.

That is exactly what our hosts have told us. Folks move to the island then bitch and moan because the roads get closed for a few days per year. I mean, really, did they not do any homework before buying?

Yes, hopefully the red flag is purely precautionary.
 
We are here now. Arrived yesterday (Tuesday). Didn't like the shortened program last year but decided as it's the one hundredth anniversary that we would come this year. No idea if we'll do Jurby on Sunday as it sounds like it's just a club race now. Walking round the bike park usually good though.

Ahh right.

I knew he did a bit of reporting on the situation when it got a bit dodgy, but didn't he worked there later.
 
There's 5 races total in this year's schedule, the Junior & Senior MGP are amateurs only (I think).
