You're safe enough in Glasgow. They only murder their friends.

our good friend ratchet jaw would argue with a fence post till it rotted into the ground and proof be damned.

Sorry, I can't be bothered "proving" anything. Have you had that think about how your friends's lives were lost? Was it because of small engines?

How you "feel" on a tiddler or on a Commando is of zero consequence to what crashes you'll have or not have.

I've seen the accident figures. If you haven't read them (and that's the way it sounds to me), then on you go and find and read the figures.
If you are not sufficiently interested to do so, that's ok too.

If you think your safety can be guaranteed by somehow "accelerating out of trouble," then bloody good luck.

you think so Bill hehehe
anyway back to my new 125cc toy, I purchased a 150cc big bore cylinder and matching head with slightly bigger valves and a standard camshaft which I will have reprofiled, I wonder if I can convince our resident cylinder head man to see what he can do with the head, I'm sure improvements could be made there,

Pretty - lame.. Nah, have fun, but if you dig them tiddlers, there's a good article in a recent MX Action mag, they do a "big'' [139cc] bore kitted YZ 125, done on a budget 2nd-hand bike..it rips good.
How like the Honda is that Chinese copy? - Yoshi & Powroll used to do big cams for the little Hondas , I 'bucket' raced a couple of [mates] bikes so equipped.
As for good buddy bill chiming in, he may be thick as a [6X6 hardwood] post himself & as stubborn as a Scotchman arguing over a bar tab, but I`ve found him a new 2T bike to buy...
http://www.peregrinemotorcycles.co.uk/ aint cheap though...

You usually pay over the bar for each drink or round as it comes, rather than run up a tab.

Mine's a pint, if you're buying.

Yeah, its called a 'shout' in these here parts, but for you laddie, I`d spring to a dram o`the highlands finest amber nectar ò the gods - to toast our wee Robbie Burns..eh.

made a little alloy fairing for the "Tiddler" and fitted some decent rear shocks.

well my house is 4 storey, with internal ramp from 2nd level to 3rd level which is road level, so I got plenty of room for my toys.

Need a pic of the whole machine again, to see how it looks.

Don't a pair of TLS brakes mean you can roll down the hills backwards ?!
I seem to recall exploring this feature with a front brake somewhere...

ok, I live on a steep hill, I'll try and get a 30mph speed up backwards down the hill and apply both brakes, see what happens, should I wear a helmet or , would shorts, singlet and thongs suffice?
