Seems to me that pure gasoline is on the way out, and those of us with vintage vehicles are going to have to adapt to keep our hobby and vehicles alive. Ethenol isnt going anywhere. The governments and big businesses have too much invested.

In actual fact the powers that be are already looking at a replacement for Ethanol, as it seems very clear that its benefits to the environment are questionable, and production costs are quite high.

Poor bumpy roads? Thing of the past with the Lansdowne Suspension Kits......well nearly  anyway its about time someone give a "Long term view" of the kit....unless no body as done any great miles...except Gino.cash said:Bob,
This will not happen.
They could use the money to maintain the roads we've neglected and maybe build some like the ones in Ludwig's last post,
In the UK we have MPs say that poor roads are safer because they slow down the traffic  Not only that we have "sleeping policemen" engineered humps in the road, you probably have too, hit one of these on your Commando at the speed limit and you're air bourne big style, its not funny I'll tell you.
Our lot are just unaccountable anywhere else half of 'em would be jailed.
Where's my blood pressure pills.

Is it required in your area for the ethanol content to be posted on the pump? Here in VA they have to, and everything has ethanol in it. I think in NC there is no law to that effect, so the consumer doesn't know what they are getting. Seems to be a state by state thing at least here in the US.
