It connects in the +ve (red line) as shown on the Tri Spark website https://www.trispark.com.au/filter-for-electrical-noise-reduction

Trispark Podtronics filter

Word of warning - it did not work on my bike. Basically disabled the charging system. I had to remove my PODtronic and go with a different solution.

Not to sound stupid but what purpose does that filter do and why is it there?
Thanks,

From the Trispark link above.

Use this filter in combination with the Podtronics Single Phase POD-1P-HP (also known as CS4035) Voltage Regulator. This filter will reduce the electrical noise produced by this regulator. The electrical noise will interfere with the function of electronic ignitions.

Kommando, thanks for the reply. I have been running a 3-phase alternator for years now and that is probably the reason for my question. I should learn how to read!

That “filter” disabled my Triumph, above 3500 it ran like a hairy goat, got rid of the filter and back to normal. Trispark ignition.
