Hi Guys, think i know the answer so just checking..... i currently have a three phase alternator & Podtronics 200watt reg./rectifier fitted, and with poorly knees:( I'm seriously looking at an Alton e-starter. So the question is with the Alton only having a single phase alternator (2 wire) can i still use the 3 phase Podtronics regulator & just tie off and insulator one of the yellow wires??

I suggest you ask Alton that! Or Podtronics

I installed my Alton this past year and am happy to give you tips etc via messaging if you decide to go with the Alton

I have poor knees too!!

Yes, you can use any two of the three yellow wires, and as you say, tie back the spare.

Yep I have done exactly that

I ran a single phase alternator through a 3 phase rectifier for many years, just connect the 2 alternator wires to any 2 of the 3 rectifier terminals or wires.
