triple tree

I have a 72 Commando. I bought a 850 triple tree by mistake for it. Can the 850 upper yoke be used with a 750 lower yoke or are they both different?

They are different, so have to be used as a pair.

Both 850 upper and lower yokes/trees should have "ANG" cast in to their undersides to identify them from the 750 yokes/trees.

Hi , in NO account you could/should mix them, the lower and upper trees for 750 and 850 are different rakes and must stay in the same family.........even put 750 tree to a 850 frame and vice versa , is not advisable, but it could be done (I had done it, when young and had no access to anything else........
