Trailer Winch

Can a hand winch for a boat trailer be used to pull a 450 pound motorcycle up a 7 foot ramp onto a flatbed trailer? Can a normal 5ft 5 in 115 pound woman do the winching while her much fatter husband guides the bike up the ramp and to the pre-install stop and tie-downs?

Yes, absolutely. The mechanical advantage of a winch is quite substantial.

You can even perform the task solo with a simple block and tackle arrangement of pulleys and a rope.
