Hi Everybody,
There is an oil pressure gauge kit for Tridents from Triples Unlimited in Greece --is it any good and has anybody used it? There is a big banjo bolt that goes up into an oil passage way --is this a good design?
Thank you!
Kara

The banjo bolt into one of the front main bearings (previously blanked by a 5/16 UNC bolt) oil ways on the T150, T160, and Rocket 3 is the most common point where most kits measure the oil pressure from. I have an "LP Williams" kit on my T160 which uses the same take off point.

I believe (if my memory serves me well) that Dave Madigan who resides in the USA made some kits with a take off mounted on the oil filter cap. I stand to be corrected. I don't know if these are still available.

There have been no problems with mine if that helps?

Yes, I have a Triples Unlimited gauge kit on my T160.

As good as any other.
Hi LAB,
So you don't see any possibility of reduced flow in the intended oil gallery? I am new to the Triple world and
everything seems to be critical --I don't want to pooch something.
Sincerely,
Kara

None whatsoever. The gauge connection is at the end of the gallery drilling so it can't cause a restriction.

Hi LAB,
Thank you--I have ordered a kit from John. I don't know if I will keep the kit on the T150 all the time, but it will be good to get a picture of the new bike in terms of oil pressure.
Sincerely,
Kara
