Sparx reg/rec mounting places???

I would very much like to see Some of the ways you guys have mounted the reg/rec unit. I would like to keep it basicly out of site but mounting it under the Boyer black box is ok too.

My outta sight way way attach a plate to back of battery tray and mount the finned block there, plenty of air flow and only seen if look up from rear fender.
It ain't a very hi heat load to handle with our alternators. Here's a blurry photo of Trixie's bat box area with a potted block Tympanium instead of fancy finned Podtronics. Here's direct link to swell up viewing

I mounted mine where the air box used to go, but i don't mind seeing it. Might even polish the fins!

Yeah I hung my Peel 'special' 3 phase Podtronics on chin of bat box too but that was a get away with any thing special not the more disciplined thought/effort an all factory looking Commando like Trixie takes. Could just strap it under the spine or maybe on the gussett at top front of batter area. Nothing wrong with modern rect/reg, same as Miki carbs, but who wants everyone to know you gave up on the old ways on just a fast glance over?

Just above the battery box, with a right angle bracket attached to the upper side cover pin bracket bolt. (if you know what I mean)

Just above the battery tray cable tied to the web with some rubber waffle pad underneath.

Mine was missing the original airfilter setup so I stuck it there
