was wondering if there are any opinions when upgrading the rotor and stator to go for a 1 phase or 3 phase sparx? i have a 73 850 commando with a boyer, stock electical components. i have a un-sealed standard sized yuasa battery. i want to run a halogen headlight kit. i live in a rural area where you have to drive 25 mph through town, otherwise i am moving. from what i have read, if 3 phase the best location for the regulator is in front of the battery tray? any info and thoughts would be appreciated. thanks, jerome
