As a young man I was introduced to the Ducati Darmah and ever since I have been mildly fascinated by eccentrics (as in not-concentric; as opposed to a person with unusual beliefs or behavior). And, no, I am not a welder!

Whats the goal? altering squat for different gearing or altering wheel base?

I don't know that it's worth the effort involved, but it gives you a lot of control over the rear suspension geometry. I'll be trying long shocks in the forward mounting holes on the swingarm, that will introduce a lot of chain slack unless the pivot is lowered to compensate.

Just introduce a spring loaded chain tensioner roller like on MX bikes , then you can run the same length chain for all hole positions
Regards Mike

It reminds me of the adjustable bridge on my Stratocaster.
& I don't like the rear shocks! They look like the strut on my Fly-Screen Door!!!

I assume that the tensioner works only on the lower chain run? In which case you'd still be stuck with whatever anti-squat effect the combination of original pivot location and longer shocks gives you.

I'll give you an A for effort, it's good to be thinking out of the box. I hope you find a magic setting.
