I have a pazon twin spark lead coil, it looks pretty much same as the Tri Spark. Neither of the
low tension terminals is marked plus or minus.
On a Norton twin, does it matter which is which since I see neither marked?
Do I need glasses?

True, it doesn't matter, however, once you have established an identity for each pole you must follow through with the convention.

Meaning?
Once you decide one is pos and the other neg what else is there?
No swapping ever after?
Im standard pos earth on this bike.

Theoretically, it shouldn't matter, as each HT/plug lead is at the opposite end of the same piece of wire in a dual coil so the circuit is made across the head between the two plug bodies and not to "ground".

However, according to the instructions for the Pazon dual coil the LT spade terminals are marked?

THE LOW TENSION CONNECTIONS ARE MARKED + AND —

Here is another picture that illustrates how series wired spark plugs work and why the polarity on the primary side probably doesn't matter....the polarity of one or the other plug will be wrong either way.
(This arrangement is common on other newer bikes and cars but coincidentally I just learned of it recently while reading up on my dual plug DR650 single, works the same way)

I posted a query to Steve at Trispark and his reply:

"It doesn't make any difference but if you look at the plastic the polarity is mounded in."

Indeed they are but nigh on invisible unless you examine carefully. Ill fall back on the
aging eyes excuse.

But question answered and thx to all for the diagrams.

An important consideration if you are using trick spark plugs with this coil set-up is to make sure that you use plugs with the exotic conductor material on both center electrode AND ground electrode.
