Has anyone run the standard long silencers on the long open/decat program?
I have an mot coming up and am not sure how the fuelling will be.
I assume it will run rich and not sure how this will affect the oxygen sensors.
Also did read somewhere that they blew their baffles out which may be an issue with all that lovely popping that goes on the overrun with the open pipes?

Do you have to change the mufflers to get through MOT ? What are you running now , loud longs ?

Yes it’ll run rich but I doubt it’ll be bad enough to not make it to the MOT station and back.

I’m running the loud longs with the front baffle removed (the factory did a few if you asked nicely) so they are similar to the shorts but with an open chamber before the perforated tube. I have assumed they will be too loud for our mot’s over here.

I doubt if you'll have any trouble especially if it has all the standard marking on.. Don't think I've ever had a bike tested for mixture.. Standard marking and not offensively loud, should be ok..
