Gents,

There are numerous adverts for new old stock gear wheels marked RSxx on eBay. Please be warned these are counterfeit products and should not be used.
Buyers beware!

Indeed!
I now have some resource to ID some trans gears I've bought in the past

A bit off topic, but prompted by the link. There are a few firms who are rightly regularly recognised for their excellence (e.g. CNW). For me, ANIL are definitely in that group and perhaps, not recognised as much as they deserve.

I wanted a Commando. They were the hooligan, "top trumps" bike of my childhood. Nonetheless, I spent a bit of time thinking through the right bike for me. I do not own a lathe. I do not weld. So, spares availability would be important. I have been delighted with the back-up from AN. I've spoken to them on the phone a few times and they've listened and explained. Parts arrive quickly, well labelled and packed, they fit and they work. Yes, it costs a little more, but on the whole, the pricing feels fair. I feel very lucky to have them there. Long may it continue.

Goes without saying, AccessNorton is also amazing!

Cold, damp and sea mist here... winter cabin fever. :rolleyes:đź‘Ť
