Engine cuts out when gear shift is engage.

I got the part marked UP, that's the tilt switch on my euro 3 SCS, the other unit on mine isn't there
 
Yep - that’s the part @TonyA. I don’t need one on my bike which was why I was happy to provide a spare to DBT. We don’t as yet know if they are still used in the New bikes, so - as you say - worth the effort.

Part of me wonders if it’s an equivalent part on another bike though - and given the actual tilt switch -I know which brand I’d start with…….
The flat pack is not used on Euro 4 and newer . This tilt pack was only needed on the bikes that had the earlier Euro 3 (less than 35 pins) OMEX or the very early pre-SC Delta 2010 to 2012 bikes. Eventually Norton used a Newer Omex that had the pinouts for these features. Sounds like a cost savings decision , but long story short SCS has these features built in thankfully .
