Ridiculously low speed limits

I like hamburgers...
 
I often travel through one of those 'hamburger' roundabouts. Its great when going straight through on the main road, a right p.i.t.a. when turning right off the main road. Need to make a couple of lane changes (to avoid a bus lane) and two sets of traffic lights. No so bad on the bike, tedious in the car.

Exactly
And if you don't know the road and want to turn right you don't always realise you actually need to turn left to go right
