I had a low speed fall on the 961 in gravel a few weeks ago and am dealing with insurance co who will allow me to make repairs.
Yes I was being a dickhead!
I'm trying to obtain replacement prices on the following parts.
Some (a lot actually) of the parts can be fixed (painted/polished/sanded)
That number for the turn signals doesn't turn up anything by the way.
Any help you guys can give me in prices and pointing me in the right direction to get them will be greatly appreciated.
Here is the list.
2014 Norton 961 Commando Black

Turn Signals (front and rear right hand side)

Right hand header pipe

Silencer (exhaust) right hand side (Long open)

Right hand foot peg (rest)

Right hand brake lever

Regards
Simon

Pillion seat pad

Petrol tank

Petrol tank decals

Bar end mirror

Disc brake reservoir

Flyscreen

Head light ears

Head light

Right hand foot control frame

Handlebar grips

Source indicators from a triumph 1050 Sprint, other triumphs use them & have flexible stems ,good luck on the parts gathering, low speed drop easily done , feel for yer

Thanks for that. I don’t bounce as good as I use to. Sore shoulder n elbow only.
Checked the frame seems fine.

Hi nopdog, glad you're ok. If I were you I would contact Ollie Thiel at info@thiel-motorsport.de as no word from Norton yet.

The indicators are the same as Triumph 675, 1050 Sprint and Aprilia. There is also a flexible version. See here:

Levers are the same as Ducati 1098 according to Stu Bodycote.

There is a seller on Ebay listing a pair of Triumph silencers, but I convinced they are actually 961 pipes...

Hope this helps a bit.

Cheers,

cliffa.

I’ve sent an email to Ollie.
The only things which are actually broken.
Right hand foot control frame has a crack at one of the welds. I can re weld and powder coat.
The rubber and (bolt) on the brake lever snapped off and one turn signal.
Everything else just light scrapes etc.

The insurance is New for Old.
Getting prices for the parts is hard part. Even though I’ll upgrade a lot of stuff.
Like get rid of those black reservoir brake and clutch things.

Any one know what a good replacement for the metal head light would be. Mine is lightly scratched on lens and rim.
Thanks for this as I’m taking notes.
