removing carb jets?

Hi guys, im new to single mikuni's and have seen videos on how to dismantle n clean, but I was wondering is it possible to clean the jets without removing the actual carb from the bike?

some times the main jet can be removed, via the drain plug, but thats all. Its better to remove the carb, and do the job right.

The main jet is the only one that is remavable while carb is mounted. However, the main jet is rarely an issue.

Dropping the float bowl while mounted is possible but not practical.

These carb on the flange adapter are a no brainer to take on and off so it doesn't make much sense to leave them on the bike. You should not have to pull the tank but that too becomes a 2 minute job after a few 100 times.
