There was a post recently concerning a 72 Commando, and whether it was a Combat
This got me thinking about my 71. I call it a 71 because that is what I believe it to be. But, it is titled and registered as a 72.
The bike has 9,000 original miles on it, and was a single owner bike before I purchased it. It is a survivor, and I have painted the tank and side covers. I also have removed most of the aluminum covers, fork legs, and front bake parts to polish at the shop. But, the engine has not been apart, nor removed from the frame. Silver barrels, front drum, and 930 Amals.
The VIN is 147215. All numbers match.
I know there are other places to research this, but thought someone may have some insight
Thanks
