Yes so i checked the previous posted and well what can I say I’m an old fart like the rest of you old farts n I forget what I posted yesterday.
But in another note, it seems that if you’ve got a second question after but within your first question, you should start a new thread before entering the second question. My head hurts

Rules are: There are no rules..
But if you ask an ambiguous question like: 'Is there any else that should be replaced whilst it’s apart. I know that's a huge ask, but in a perfect world. I'll check everything when apart.' ... then expect a plethora of possibly diverse (but all well intentioned) answers. Just sort out what you feel of use....
Some people try humour too, though to some it's just trying :-(
(Though you may well get a better response re: Dunstall exhausts if you start a new thread, perhaps?)

Hey Bunky, been beat up by some of the best?...Never give up. At least no one suggested that you replace the debenture nut or change out the silencer bearings...

Not that you can process another tip, but you may want to replace the inner cover k/s bush (04-0473) and the outer cover k/s bush (04-0472). They are not expensive and will support the k/s shaft and may enhance the function of the rubber seal you said you would roll the dice with.

Best.

“Bunky” had to look that one up. It’s pretty funny especially from a septic tank.

I bought my 74 off the showroom floor and like clockwork every other year my kickstarter stripped out and I had to replace it. 10 yrs ago we rebuilt the tranny and I wanted to replace the shaft. My buddy the expert said it looked ok but I replaced it anyway. Problem solved. I say there are a bunch of bad shafts out there.
