So, being a MP since 1983 doesn't count? Is your statement to be understood like "MP's don't deserve wages", or is it "Mr. Corbyn doesn't deserve wages because I disagree with his views" ?? Like it or not, as long as Mr. Corbyn has the confidence of the Labour Party, his position and rights are secured.
What are the merits for "(not) doing a thing for this country"? And who qualifies, in your opinion? This is uneducated pub talking, worse still, badmouthing an individual. Let's stay civilized!
What has the assumed property value of the Corbyn couple to do with anything? Do any MPs live in dilapidated shacks? Come on. As a side note, a property owned for many years may gain an exceptional value increase due to a number of reasons. So what is this - envy??
This thread is about Brexit questions.
Another slant with undocumented allegations, probably completely untrue!
Anyone reading Mr. Corbyn's bio will see that he has held numerous positions with unions and public services, not to mention being a full time politician since 1983 or before with a notable constituency backing. Despite of differering political views, I think we should all be thankful that someone is willing to devote their lives to the unappreciative task of being politicians.
Anyone thinking that MPs don't "work" will have to define what "work" is or is not! And please examine more carefully what being an MP entails. I think (and hope) that most MPs live up to the standard expected from them, which entails reading documents to no end ....... it is a daunting job.
As for Diana Abbott - a referral to back up your statement please.
