Gotta laugh when I started work it was a 6 1/2 day week every week

On one occasion of holidays and sickness amongst my colleagues I ended up working 47 consecutive 12 hr nightshifts

The money was very very good :):cool::cool::cool:

Employment law would curtail such working hours these days.


Oxford luvvies ........... sounds like my taxation contributions has been keeping them in the lap of blood sucking luxury :mad:

When I retired after my 30 yrs I was still working my 28 days a month plus being available for call out 24/7 …. I was literally lost for 6wks or so …. Now I wonder how & why , in same boat as most working men retirees , just barely make ends meet every month , be for everything turned sideways during covid life was pretty good , it’s wow what happened ….
 
What do the following have in common?

1) a frozen pizza burned in the oven

2) a bottle of beer frozen in the freezer

3) an unwanted pregnancy

ANS: Some guy waited too long to pull it out.
