These pics at the “ two hoots “ tea room at devils bridge , steam engine not bad nick considering its 170 years old ,covered 960 miles in four days , & Tony yes the big boys , I didn’t have cruise control, heated grips, a heated seat, a 350 mile range fuel tank ,DAB digital hi fi system, but it was the 961 that drew all the attention from the other 3 bikes that have a combined value of £55K , 961 looks a bargain now , & proves again that you can actually ride these bikes & not use them as ornamentsLooks your riding with the big boys bikes again Richard !

Well mines all ready, tax tomorrow and hopefully the weather will improve for the weekend. With a bit of luck I can have the biking summer planned for 2020 to celebrate 50 years a biker, fingers crossed. A trip to the IoM would be nice. What a tease, come on, spill the beans!
Are you saying that the current TVS/Norton took your bike in for service/storage ? WOW , I thought they only worked on the bikes they built ? April Fools right ..I am a bad person and could not resist it! My bike went to the factory July last year and I asked if they could look after it while our neighbours built an extension and rebuilt our adjoining garages but it all went wrong and they are only just completing the work so had the bike delivered back ready for a show on Saturday nicely polished after its holiday!
NB that is; building work went wrong not Norton work!
Let’s imagine hypothetically that they were interested in producing a 961 type bike then they would want to know the potential problems with the existing design. So they might like to look at a bike which has covered a few miles. And while the engineers were looking at the bike they might feel inclined to fix any small issues they might find. Hypothetically of course...Are you saying that the current TVS/Norton took your bike in for service/storage ? WOW , I thought they only worked on the bikes they built ? April Fools right ..
Well that sounds pretty darn good to me !Let’s imagine hypothetically that they were interested in producing a 961 type bike then they would want to know the potential problems with the existing design.
