It probably doesn't help, but this is the color selector page available from your Norton Dealer in 1971.
Tangerine would seem to be a red-orange color, available standard on only the Hi-rider or S/S models.
P.S. There was a tangerine Hi-rider on ebay recently.
Was difficult to tell it wasn't just a lighter shade of red.
