oil filters

Norton gurus, I know oil filters have been discussed before, but I have quick question. I cross referenced the crossland number and came up with a wix number 51352, that my local auto parts guy stocks. the wix filter has only 6 holes, whereas the emgo that was on there has 8. Is this ok? the wix is also a bit longer, but there are no clearance issues.

I use a 51352 filter with no problems.

I've been using the 51352 also, but thinking about going to the 51032 because of the smaller micron rating.

thanks guys, I went back and looked at some old posts. there are a lot of options out there, I guess you just have to use whats readily available and affordable in your area. agree with Jim, why an adaptor when there are so many options?

The wix filters I buy have German made Mannn filters in the box
