What’s the best way to plumb/route in an oil filter. Feed line or return line. It’s a 71 Commando 750 Thanks

If you are using a sump plug reed valve system a lot of oil will by pass the filter, nearly all when clearing a wet sump. Keep the screen, may not be a conciseness just my opinion.

Speaking of magnetic if electro magnetic solenoid type valves were 100% reliable (which their not) it could possibly make wet sumping a thing of the past...
