Norton 850 Crankshaft seal (left hand side)

Hi,

Does anyone have the dimensions or a part number for a rubberised replacement L/H side crankshaft seal, instead of the steel flanged norton original type.

I thought that perhaps somebody had dimensions or a part number for the garter seal, so I could order one locally through a bearing service.

In a previous thread, pommie john wrote on this subject;

You can buy them from any bearing shop, you don't have to pay Steve Maney's inflated price.
I can't remember the seal size, but it is an imperial sized seal running on a metric sized crank!

Not much help, but you could always take the old seal into a bearing shop?

The primary side crank seal is 1 3/16 X 1 3/4 X 3/16 (Norton #067567 or NMT2187). The DomiRacer all rubber seal is OEM ML118175 3/16. I believe this simply stands for 1.18 (1 3/16) X 1.75 (1 3/4) X 3/16.
