What are the smaller tail light fairings? What tail light parts do they require? I need a new tail light for my MKIII and don't want to use the huge stock boat anchor that came with the bike.

Will the shorter tail light fit a MKIII without much drilling? My fenders are recently painted.

I've been holding out for a cast tail light from Old Britts but I have a better chance of meeting Jesus at the bar than getting a tail light shell from them.

Those are really cool. What will they retail for? What dealers will be carrying them?

The early style rear lamp know as the "Beehive" fits 750's whereas the later bigger lamp the "Lunchbox" was for the 850's, maybe some of the very last 750's got it too. There is a fitment issue on putting Beehives onto 850 Mk2 and Mk3 rear guards. The guards are slightly diferent. When fitted to an 850 the Beehive slant down and look bad, and you do have to drill new bolt mounting holes. I have fitted a fibreglass Beehive on my Mk2 coz they look nicer, and I had to put rubber bushes under the 2 rear mount points to jack it up, break the spine near the upper mount to straighten the profile and reinforce with epoxy a metal strip underneath. Dunno if you can mod these beautiful ally products to get the profile correct?
