went to the show on the Saturday, met up with some friends and unfortunately had to leave very early. the weather was horrendous and most of the auto jumble packed away.
very very high winds and rain. Sunday looked much better but I couldn't attend. I have heard that the auction threw up some surprizes but I have not seen the catalogue or sales list. in my photos there is a very rusty Brough Superior, this was part of a barn find somewhere in Devon I believe, with 4 others?. I am told this rust was expected to go for £16000 plus, anybody want to add please do. this is only a few of a great selection of bikes put on show.
apologies if these photos should be else where on the forum, please advise if so. cheers N

Thanks for posting the pics! I was going to go, but saw the weather forecast and changed my mind. My mate had a large outdoor tool stall there - he gave up and came home when he realised that the winds were close to sending everything he had into the next county - and they were due to get worse!

Interesting photos - Thanks for posting. What was that red bike with the in-line 4-cylinder engine, shaft drive and a rigid rear end?

Also, does anyone know if any of the Douglas "Dragonfly" 350 flat twins have survived? Douglas managed to stay alive for a while in the late 1950s by building Vespa scooters, under licence from Piaggio, for the UK market. A Douglas-built 150 Vespa Clubman was my first vehicle (1958). When I decided to get away from scooters, I almost bought a Dragonfly, but got an Ariel "Leader" instead.

That is a Nimbus. these were from Denmark 1916 -1960, really good bike, 500 and 750 with very strange/different engineering. have a very good racing history in Europe. has been the topic of a great story rebuild in some magazines, well worth looking out. I stand to be corrected on any info. I came so close to owning one of these plus a lot of others in a recently deceased persons property and found a dealer had sneaked in with a "deal"

I believe these show up occasionally at shows, would be worth googling on uk site, lots of info usually

Totally agree with the "pack", great pics! Some fine bikes, one question: what is the Triumph with a strange black tank, it has a badge beneath the Triumph badge but I cant make out what it says :?

Its a Greeves you can see the cast alloy front frame section (I guess you can't call it a down "tube") as I believe they were powered by a range of Villiers two stroke engines but it is possible to fit (just) the smaller unit Triumph motor in.

it was rough, looks like i have added 2 pics that aren't classic bikes, just an old classic rider. lol

I hope to have removed 2 stray photos and inserted the 2 missing from the batch, BSA stand and a Norton.
