N15 gearbox spacer location which side

I am in the process of fitting the gearbox to my n15 engine already in place i have 2 spacers that look like they go between the gearbox mounting and the engine plate but my question is what side do they go to left or right thanks in advance

On my 66 G15, it looks to have a washer about 3/16 th " thick on the timing side of the gearbox between the gearbox lug and the engine cradle.
