Hey, all that hair is now coming out my ears, eyebrows and nose, so it's all still there.

Supposed to be a break in the heat next few days with low humidity, so it's ride time if the stink bugs aren't too thick.

I know what you mean Dave. When I go for a haircut these days I have to get the eyebrows pruned!

My wife says that I either trim the ears and nose or they're gonna be braided in my sleep.

Ugh, saw a whole rash of new looking Nortons at INOA rally stolen by clever old farts away from stupid teenagers that had em first.
Do you'all still carry condoms in your kit like me and Wes? We tell wives its just for gasoline transfers : ) ugh and they now believe us : (

They came out really nice.Gonna attempt it on my bike

Must..Finish..Bike................

The stupid signals are the devil. Can't get them to work right (they either all blink or none blink) and then one of the cables shorted out. Awesome.

Dad's tank and side covers are in the queue with Vintage Vendor but they may not be back in time to get right on the bike if I can manage to stop dicking around with a few issues in the next week or so.

Then again, I no longer have a seat [at the moment] as both my pan AND my interstate seat are off getting worked on (the interstate foam is going to get cut down into a "Gunfighter" shape and will then be put onto the steel pan and covered), so I guess the tank isn't really an issue right now anyway..

Ugggggggggggggggggggh, I'm ready to ride this thing. It's killing me!!

You're going to turn out like me last year, I got it started in late Oct. and then the clutch cable broke and I had to wait another week, then it was too cold for me. Had to put it away for the winter. I did get it up and down the driveway a few times.

I'll die if I don't get to put a few miles on it this year. If something breaks the second I get it started...ugh. :(

At least most of the parts on the bike are new so unless I got a dud, I shouldn't have anything like that happen. Of course, now that I've typed that, something will...... D'OH.

One wire at a time, dude; one wire at a time.

I haven't actually taken a look at them yet. Dad was fighting them and hasn't had much success getting the issue resolved (yet).

If it was mine I would not be using spring washers and stainless bolts for the caliper mount, locktite and zinc plated would be my choice, if I had to use stainless I still wouldnt use spring washers. Im sure others will disagree, or have not had problems. I have had a spring washer brake and consequently had the caliper bolt back out on my landrover.

Got the new (shorter) throttle cable installed and the mikuni/twistgrip installed. Also installed and adjusted the clutch cable. Mounted mirrors also.

Also found out that the CommandoSpecialties exhaust I ordered isn't going to work. The bends on the header pipes are way off so the pipes don't sit right. Guess I'll be taking my old header pipes for chroming. Ugh.

Oh, and I'm finally finished (for now) polishing the rims. Nevr Dull followed by Mothers. Took an eternity of polishing but I think they ended up pretty decent..
