I'm cleaning more stuff out of my garage and have a set of Cerianis. These are the MX variety so I thought I'd ask the MX people first. Any idea of the value? I've heard as much as $750 but I think that's high.

Thoughts?

No idea of the value,
but those forks are just like the ones that came with my BSA project bike.

Gday Swoosh, Cerianis are desired by some special builders as Im told they are a better handling set up than Roadholders. I looked at them but found to be too pricey at $700 to $800. I bought a set of Roadholders of Kenny Dreer for $200! Whack'em on ebay, you might be pleasently surprised what you get for them!

Yes, but stick a sensible reserve on them first, you don’t want them to go for next to nothing :!:

Arces forks like these were used on different offroad bikes , if they are 35mm then on Ebay you would be lucky to get $200 - $300 for them, they are fairly common, If they were the single or double hump Cerianis then they would sell for $1000-$2000. if they are the smaller 32mm then expect a lot less, around $100-$200

Yeah, I know the GP forks go for real money, but it's hard to find pricing on the MX ones. They are 35mm.

The forks are Ceriani, the YOKES are Arces. It's the same company, I believe. Something about the surname and/or casting division, it's been a long time since I heard the story.

They typically fetch $600 - $700 and can go higher for certain models, especially depending on the yokes (cast-in handlebar mounts, etc).

They also had bolt-on steering stops that are quite nifty (like tiny clip-ons). That's all I retained from my set to use on the Suzuki 550 forks with my Triton.

Good find, those are really close. They are missing the fender tabs, not sure how the Pentons mounted them, probably under the lower triple clamp.

Adding that to my watch list...

Damper = fry bread . Steering Dampener , Shock Dampener , Hydraulic dampener . Er , U.S. = shock absorber .Olde Friction Dampeners , like ancient
steering dampener on the underside of the steering column. Twist to tighten .Then we had this new hydraulics .

Hope you get at least $200 for the forks, that should be enough to buy some yellow paint to slap on that tank of yours! I'm just a bit concerned that the Picker Sisters might grab it thinking your not using it?! I'm only saying

Set of 35mm ones just sold on ebay for $365.

Yep, that set for $365 had the steering damper assembly and axle to go with it, that would certainly up their value.

Ended up selling them for $275. Once I wiped the grease and dirt off I found the tubes had a little pitting.

Sold them to a local guy who wants to road race a 350 Widecase. He seemed happy and that's all that matters. Nice guy and it was fun to talk bikes with him.
