I have a 1975 Commando Mk3. The terminals on the neutral warning lamp, P/N 06-6409, are broken off. I can't find a replacement anywhere. Any ideas?

AN has them, but the last MK3 I wired I used these: https://a.co/d/95Oy8B5

The come in black or chrome-like bezel and look really good installed.

You can read how I did it here: https://gregmarsh.com/MC/Norton/Norton_1975_Wiring.aspx

Andover Norton sells a repair bulb but you can buy the bulbs on ebay etc. and make these yourself.

After messing around with these for years I ended up cutting off the lenses, sticking them in place with a heat gun then fixed (again with a heat gun) some different bulb holders to the underside that took 3W capless bulbs.

I have something similar as Greg Marsh, but they are "not polarity sensitive", therefore to change the wiring with diodes is not necessary, it is just plug and play., unfortunately I don`t find them anymore.
I suggest look for " 8 mm led dash light not polarity sensitive".

Diodes are not needed for the ones I use either. You simply connect the red wire to the + side and the black ot the - side of whatever you are connecting. I chose to splice the wires to the correct colors so the next person looking would have no confusion.

However, any time you want to use an LED for the turn indicator, diodes are required no matter the polarity of the LED, and it must be wired as shown in my write-up, instead of standard. This is nothing new.

I disagree

In my case it also works for the turn indicator, because it is a not polarity sensitive Led, there is something like a rectifier in the Led.

I like magic - send a link to the magic :)

BTW, the full schematic is linked and the turn-signal indicator section is shown in my write-up - the diodes are ONLY used for the turn signal indicator, not for the others as you implied.

Of course, there are people making LEDs with the two built-in diodes, but you do not wire those across the two sides, you wire them as I do and there are three wires involved rather than two. There is even a way to do it with two wires in some situations, but I spend enough time helping people do it the simple way so I'm not doing down that complicated road!

I fully aware of the situation, first I ordered a RGM-LED-Kit with two diodes, but I didn`t want to change the wiring. That was the reason I ordered some "Not polarity sensitive Led" and it worked, my LEDs have even spade connectors. As I told I do not find the Link anymore.

Here is a Link, my LEDs look similar.

But I cannot guarantee

Thanks everyone. I not only learned of several different ways to go, but I learned a lot in the process. Thank.

I've fitted new lights which are the ones I used to use in old cars. Two spade terminals, run a 9mm drill through , and all OK. No led wires to mess with came with chrome bezels so look better than originals. Cheap from Ebay. Roy. Have a plastic backing nut, not push fit !

Here is my solution. Only requires very minimal reaming and 8 good crimp spades. Looks the part ? Roy.

All 4 of mine are now L.E.D. , no more fragile bulbs .
I think It was all in an order from Britain . Sorry , suffer from C.R.S. sometimes .
